She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dawson and Gwendolyn Dawson; and her sister Brenda Fugatt. She is survived by: her husband Roy Yarber; her children, Russell Jackson (Sonya), William Dawson (Brittany), Jake Dawson (Michelle), Michael Yarber and Anna Wallin; her grandchildren, Cali, Kobe Jackson, Slayden, Zoey, Elianna, Maverick Dawson, Paisley and Oliver Yarber; and her siblings, Jame (Linda), Jeffery (Sue) and John Dawson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
