He is survived by: his children, Robin Sampley (James) and George Shavers Jr.; his grandchildren, Casi Kirk, Madyson Sampley, Gunner Sampley, Callie Smart (Justin), Shelby Gass (George), Amanda Cook (Lawrence), Tiffany Mabe (Mitchell) and Whitney Sampley; and his sisters, Carol Coffman and Shirley Luce. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
