He was predeceased by: his parents, George Specht and Rose Specht (Rybarski) of In Hammond, IN.; his siblings, Georgie, Chuck Specht and Carolyn Oliver; and his wife Joan.
He is survived by: his children, Tammie Specht of Francis, OK, Jim Specht (Heather), Mark Specht (Angel) of Blue Springs, MO, Bryan Specht (Angela) of Francis, OK and Rob Specht (Tiffany) of Francis, OK.; and his stepchildren, Megan Payne (Tony), Ricky Bennet (Jodie) and Danielle Guess (Mike) of Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stevenson City Cemetery.
