He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice McCamey and Sam McCamey; his wife Mary Louise McCamey; his siblings, Sam Bo McCamey, Charley McCamey, Flora Coffey and Mildred Earl; and his daughter-in-law Deborah McCamey.
He is survived by: his children, Ilene Cothron (Tommy), John McCamey (Sharon) and David McCamey; his grandchildren, Darron McCamey (Elnora), Patrick McCamey (Lacretia), Cassandra McCamey and Kabrina McCamey; his great grandchildren, Malik McCamey and Kei'Shaun Henry of Zyon Henry, P. J; his brother Willie L. McCamey; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hudson (Raymond) and Joyce Davis (Thomas).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
