He was predeceased by : his parents, Maude Ward and Jody Ward. He is survived by : his children, Marsha Keel (Michael), Shelley Hampton (Nubb), Rodney Ward (Brandy) and Rivers Ward; his grandchildren, Olivia Bearden (Ryan), Rayden Hampton (Kristan), Sieanna Hampton (Mykel), Shianna Hampton (Austin), Michael Adam Keel, Nicholas Kyle Ward (Mariah), Trinity Hampton and Kylie Ward; his great grandchildren, Rylee Bearden, Maddox Hampton, Lanie Brooke Bearden and Malachi Hampton; and his siblings, Freda Campbell, Kenneth Ward (Rachel) and James Ward (Beverley).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
