With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Remington Guffey of Stevenson, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Pedro Huerta; his great-grandparent Teresa Gray; and his uncle Zack Gibson. He is survived by: his parents, Mason Guffey and Lily Guffey; his grandparents, Heather Huerta, Jesse, Laura Wright, Nathan, Breanna Purdy, Tim Talley and Crystal Guffey; and his great-grandparent Don Thompson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
