We announce the death of Virginia Ann McCrary of Stevenson, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2026. Virginia Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hubert Carroll and Eunice Katherine Ballard Carroll (Rayford Lee McCrary); her son Mark McCrary; and her siblings, Martha Jane Carroll, David Carroll and Vivian Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Mike, Sherri McCrary, Sherrie, Tommy Broad, Zaye and Madison McCrary; her grandchildren, Christy, Michael Rorex, Harper McCrary, Dalton Rorex and Brinlee Rorex; her siblings-in-law, Jim McCrary (Sue) and Francis Carroll; her nephews, David McCrary (Robbie), Rory, Ridge McCrary and Darren Carroll; and her niece Kim Willard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home - Stevenson (45015 AL-277, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location.
Flowers are accepted, although in lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to Cave Springs Baptist Church - C/O David McCrary 2720 County Road 53 Stevenson, AL 35772.
