She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Hastie, Sr. and Clara Bristow Hastie of Stockton. She is survived by: her husband John Earle Chason, Sr.; her children, Anne Shepherd (Chuck), John Earle Chason, Jr. (Vivian) and Susan Chambers (Sam); her siblings, Clara Hastie Smith (Howard) and Joseph H. Hastie, MD (Jan); her grandchildren, Rachel, Katelyn, Christine, Mazie, Maggie and Sam; and her great grandchildren, Hollie and Marley.
