He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifton Birmingham and Willie "Madge" Otts Birmingham. He is survived by: his wife Doris Birmingham of Sulligent, AL; his daughters, Linda Oliver (Michael) of Sulligent, AL and Lori Sandlin (Dustin) of Sulligent, AL.; his sister Maxine McLemore of Atlanta, GA.; his grandchildren, Charity Tate (Kevin), Megan Price (Bridget Frye), Candace Morris (Patrick), Summer Dobbins (Patrick Spooner), Alan Dobbins (Cheyenne), Savannah Stanford (Derrick) and Emory Moore; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Tate, Emma Tate, Micah Tate, Sophie Spooner, Penelope Spooner, Lincoln Allen Morris, Stella Morris, Rhett Dobbins, Conner Stanford, Amelia Stanford and Hudson Stanford.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church (215 Brown St, Sulligent, AL 35586). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at the Prospect Cemetery.
