With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathy McDill of Sulligent, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathy left this world on September 23, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lucas, Sr. and Beadie Ruth Butler Lucas; her granddaughter Nina Marie Nonamaker; and her siblings, William Lucas, Jr. and Shirley Plumb.
She is survived by: her husband Waymon McDill; her children, Ricky Allen Curl, Jr. (Karen "Heart"), Angie Gann (Kevin) and Leon Scott Curl (Shanna); her grandchildren, Alicia Dianne Curl, Misty Pridmore (Justin), Amber Curl, Angel Hoeckendorf (Scott), Skylar Gann, Chris Curl, Kayla Curl and Riley Curl; her siblings, Karen Matherne, Gary Lucas, Joanne Williams and Lynn Plumb; and her stepchildren, Angela Morris (David), Brenda O'Mary (Kevin), David McDill (Amy) and Scott McDill. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
