She was predeceased by: her son Jeremy Michial Mathis. She is survived by: her children, William Christopher Mathis, Jimmy Dewayne Mathis, Jerry Lynn Mathis and Benjamin Mathis; and her sisters, Carolyn Cato, Brenda James Carbonie and Beverly Cato. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bell Funeral Home - Sumiton (510 Main St, Sumiton, AL 35148). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
