It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Guyton of Sumiton, Alabama, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Guyton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Guyton; her granddaughter Tiffany Jenkins; and her sisters, Ruth Hollis and Della Brasfield. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Guyton (Kathy), Daniel Guyton (Gloria), Bobby Guyton (Renae), Karen Guyton Jenkins (Holice) and Sandra Glover (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Glover (Windy), Brian Guyton (Virginia), Holice Jenkins Jr. (Natalie), Alex Guyton (Ashley) and Jennifer McGaughy (Eric). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bell Sumiton Chapel (510 Main St, Sumiton, AL 35148). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
