He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Terry Bates (Choendroe), Carlos Steele (Cozette), Donzeler Steele, Donald Turner (Sharon), Dominic Holt and Danielle Holt (Tommy); his siblings, Jerry Cowan (Sally), Dunk Steele, Johnny Steele, William Steele, Michael Dixon, Pearl Steele (Travis), Margaret Soles (Michael) and Brenda Malone (Charles); his aunts, Emma Ford and Carolyn Dial; his uncle Daryl Williams (Jackie); his nephew Travis Dixon; and his friends, Willie Eirby and Dewayne Agee. He was also cherished by twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; a devoted companion.
