She is survived by : her siblings, Sandra Bishop (Lawrence), Carl Owens (Cecilia) and David Owens (Sherri). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Corbitt's Funeral Home (205 N Maple St, Tuskegee, AL 36083).
