It is with sadness that the passing of Arthur Blount of Sylacauga, Alabama is shared. Arthur, born on September 10, 1947 in Tampa, Florida, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Arthur will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Blount and Verna Blount. He is survived by: his wife Reida Hodges Blount; and his children, Jason Blount (Jennifer), Heather Riley (Billy), Deanna Brewer (Ryan), Krysta Figga, Skyler T. Blount (Gabby) and Riley T. Blount (Abby). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newsite Baptist Church (3104 Coosa County Rd 56, Sylacauga, AL 35136). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
