He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Swain and Wilhelmina Swain; and his brothers, John Fenton Swain and Harry Dean Twyman. He is survived by: his significant other LaStella Chappell; his stepchildren, Desi Spratling (Faith), Demetrius Spratling (Deneisha) and Sheika Spratling; and his siblings, Geraldine Twyman of Sylacauga, AL, Sheila Chappell (Cecil) of Anniston, AL., Lawarren Lee, Norman Fitzgerald (Tina) of Talladega, AL. and John David Haynes Jr. of Talladega, AL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
