He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Poore and Tessie Poore; his grandson Austin Baum; and his siblings, Polly Boss, George Poore, Patricia Luttman, Cindy Lane, Debbie Dove and Ann Crawford.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Poore; his children, Jeff Poore (Kellie), Sheree Poore Muggeo (Tony) and Deena Poore Wells (Billy); his grandchildren, Jacob Rogers (Taylor), Baylee Poore Mitchell (Austin), Kassidy Poore, Rowan Poore and Brady Wells; his great grandchildren, Nora Kate Rogers, Arlo Mitchell and Elaine Muggeo; and his sister Pam Solley.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
