Marie Bowden Forbus 1945 - 2023Sylacauga, AL. - Marie Bowden Forbus, 77, passed away on June 18, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 8, 1945 in Sylacauga, Alabama to John and Maudie Bowden. Marie was a loving wife of almost 60 hears to her devoted husband, Eddie Forbus. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Marie loved fishing, crafts, and yard sales. She was a kind and caring person, and her warm smile and gentle nature touched many lives. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Forbus, her son Ronnie Forbus (wife Kitty), her daughters Beverly Egnor (husband Derek) and Kristie Stewart (husband Shane), 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maudie Bowden.

Marie worshipped at Calvary Baptist Church in Childersburg, Alabama. Services for Marie Bowden Forbus will be held on Saturday, June 24th at Calvary Baptist Church Childersburg. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the services will start at 2:00 p.m. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Fund.
