With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Rayfield (Sylacauga, Alabama), who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marion may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, O. W. Rayfield (Dude) and Laverne Pody Rayfield; and his siblings, Juanita Rayfield Shell, Dwight and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Meadows Rayfield; his daughter Denise Rayfield Rice (John); and his sister Kathy Rayfield Brewer (Jack). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
