With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Rayfield (Sylacauga, Alabama), who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Marion may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by : his parents, O. W. Rayfield (Dude) and Laverne Pody Rayfield; and his siblings, Juanita Rayfield Shell, Dwight and Charles.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Meadows Rayfield; his daughter Denise Rayfield Rice (John); and his sister Kathy Rayfield Brewer (Jack). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
