He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Nash; his parents, William Nash and Ruby Nash; his sister Joyce Woods; and his great grandchild Raymond Cole.

He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Collins (Rick) and Lamar Nash (Julie); his grandchildren, Lauren Kathleen Nash, LeAnna Tate, Grayson Weithoner and Brianna Benefield; and his brother Mike Allen (Faye). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
