As Roy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Brothers and Ruby Rogers Brothers (Billy Rogers Marvin Rogers); and his sister Betty McBryer. He is survived by: his spouse Jeanese Rogers; his daughters, Melissia Cornelison (Jacob) and Jessica Hairston (Marvin); his sister Patricia York Brenda Rogers; and his grandchildren, Teaghan Hairston, Braxson Hairston and Nicole Cornelison.
