In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy George Casey leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though George Casey may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Gable and Grace Burton Gable; his wife Mable Gibson Gable; and his son Christopher. He is survived by: his nieces, April Adams Collier, Wanda Lee Causey (Billy) and Brenda Lee Rice (Michael); and his nephew Frank "Tony" Ferguson. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel (65001 AL-77, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Mt. Ida Baptist Church, c/o Sandy Carden, 2526 Allison Mill Road, Talladega, Alabama 35160 or to Weaver Church of God.
