It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Phillips of Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Gloria Phillips to show support.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. C. Herring and Vergie Herring; her husband Gus "Doc" Phillips; and her son James Brian Phillips. She is survived by: her sons, Kiah Phillips, Jonathan "Bomba" Phillips and Hayden Phillips; her sister Carol Herring; and her grandchildren, Derek Phillips, Rachel Phillips, Hunter Phillips (Meagan), Caitlin Sanschagrin (Jeff), Johnny Page, Rachel Gagnon, Zoey Gagnon and Casper Gagnon. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Hill Memorial Park (35036 AL-21, Talladega, AL 35160).
