He is survived by: his wife Cathy Cason; his son Jerry Michael Cason (Lisa); and his stepgrandchildren, Cohen Herd, Cruz Herd, Cleo Parker, Elsie Parker, Uriah Rutledge and R. J. Rutledge. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
