With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jess Cole Cook of Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Cook and Augusta Cook; his wife O'Neil Cook; his brother George Cook; and his great grandchild Charlee Tayt Hubbard.
He is survived by: his children, Blake Cook (Lee), Toby Cook (Christy), Allen Peek (Lisa) and Becky Embry; his brother Bo Cook; and his grandchildren, Bliss Hubbard (Lance), Kendall Freeman (Jason), Madison Justice (Daniel), Karson Palmer (Preston), Cortney Seaman (Gabe), Makala Cook, Ashley Gallman, Autumn Myers (Matt), Matthew Carr (Tiffany), Austin Shiflett (Brittany) and Emma Moore. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery (2981 Alpine Winterboro Rd, Alpine, AL 35014).
