She was predeceased by: her former husband David Gene Sherrill; her parents, Dewitt Johnson and Sallie Lucille Johnson; and her siblings, Earl Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, Richard Johnson, Larry D. Johnson and Maudie Jane Lawson.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Harrison; her daughter LeighAnn Sherrill Dawson (Kevin); her stepsons, Bob Harrison, Randy Harrison and Danny Harrison; her grandson Gabriel Seaman (Cortney); her sister Dorothy Wesson; and her sister-in-law Alice Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Salem Presbyterian Cemetery (10074 Renfroe Rd, Alpine, AL 35014).
