In the sacred silence of farewell, we release Leonard into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of our lives. And as we carry his memory forward, may we find comfort in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leonard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Milford Handley and Rosie Mae Green (Roberson); and his brothers-in-law, Howard Paul Ryder and Joe Donald Rainey. He is survived by : his daughters, Susan Renae Green and Amanda Gail Chastain; and his siblings, Linda Fay Green Allen (Boyd), Roy Ray Green (LaBreeska), Gloria Jean Green Rainey, Patricia Diane Green Hyde (Larry), Jeffery Waymon Green (Sandi) and Milford Jason Green (Christy). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Stockdale Baptist Church (3673 Stockdale Rd, Munford, AL 36268).
