She was predeceased by: her father Mrs L. M. Stone; and her husband Ludwig Boder. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie L. White (Graham Davis).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Talladega (400 East St S, Talladega, AL 35160).
She graduated with Honors, was awarded a Fullbright scholarship and was a two- time recipient of the Martha Baird Rockefeller Foundation Grant.
