Theron left this world on December 8, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Colvin "Doc" and Gloria Jean Phillips; his brother James Brian Phillips; and his grandparents, T. C., Virgie Herring, Oscar Clayton and Ella Ophelia Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Derek Kiah Phillips, Rachel Marie Phillips and Thomas Hunter Phillips (Meagan); his brother Jonathan Clay "Bomba" Phillips; and his grandchildren, Hayden Kiah Phillips, Kiahley Phillips, Bravin Holdridge and Brooklynn Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
