She is survived by : her children, Seth (Ginger), Micah, Joel (Racheal), Miriam Nicholson (Jeremy), Caleb, Esther and Andrew; and her grandchildren, Riley, Patrick, Weston, Mark, Tyler, Carter, Alton, Jared, Olivia, Daniel and Alice.

“Lavonne was a pillar of the homeschooled community and stood next to my mother through multiple pregnancies and hardships. She was like an aunt to me, esp in my younger years and I will always respect her for that. She always tried to do her best in whatever she worked at, and no one can ask for more.
