He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth West Britt; his son Steven Bowman Britt (Anne); his stepchildren, Christopher B. Harris (Cheryl), Beth Harris Cohen (Seth) and Amy Harris Wilkes (David); his grandchildren, Steven Thomas Britt (Ananya), Christine Elizabeth Britt and Elizabeth Wilkes Brown (Kemper); and his great grandchild Emily Mae Brown.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar First Methodist Church of Tallassee (1 Jordan Ave, Tallassee, AL 36078). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
