He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Keppel and Dorothy Bartlett; his parents-in-law, Rev. James Thomas and Margaret McAdams; and his brother Lonnie Keppel.

He is survived by: his wife Beverley Keppel; his daughters, Denise Meredith (James) and Danielle Powell (Glen); and his grandchildren, Alissa, Keaton, Alexandra, Jack, Sophia, Alexandria, Mira, Shannon and Rachel.
