He is survived by: his wife Linda Huey Williams; his children, William Joseph Williams, Jr. (Gina) and Amelia Lazette Carpenter (Patrick); his brothers, Henry Williams (Elsie) and George Williams (Diane); and his grandchildren, Sarah Williams, Conner Williams, Joseph Carpenter, Adelaide Lazette Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (1 Jordan Ave, Tallassee, AL 36078). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Methodist Church of Tallassee, 1 Jordan Avenue, Tallassee, Alabama 36078 or to the Ivy Creek Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 3068 Hwy 14 West, Autaugaville, Alabama 36003.
