He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Henry and Vernist Ruth Carter (Hydrick); and his siblings, Martha Dickman (Ronald), Barbara Brewer, William, Kenneth (Mary), Warren (Madeline) and James Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan Carter (Erin) and Carrie Robertson (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Kaleigh, Elijah, Natalee, Rylee, Silas and Cooper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Vessel Church (205 Ellis Lazenby Rd, Eclectic, AL 36024).
