He is survived by: his wife Betty Atkins Steele; his sons, Jeff Steele (Kelly) and Tony Steele (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Amy Puckett (Cory), Cainan Steele, Andrew Steele (Kate), Nathan Steele, Jordan Steele and Morgan Steele; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Riley Kate Puckett, Barrett and Camryn Steele; and his stepbrother Dr. Robert McConnell (Mary McConnell).
