She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Chavers and Juanita Spurlin Chavers; her children, Donald Edward "Eddie" Richards (Richards) of George Wayne, Bradley Richards, Christopher Ricahrds and Anita Skinner (Randy); her siblings, Diane Brock, Patricia Lambert and Danny Daniel; and her granddaughters, Brianna Claire Richards and Grace Lynn Richards.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Richards (Sheri), Kimberly Nimon (Bo), Bryan Richards (Trista), Brandon Richards (Megan) and Cecil Richards (Megan); her grandchildren, Joshua Richards, Allison Jones (Stetson), Brooke Strickland, Cayla Rader (Johnny), Charlotte Watts (Mason), James "Eddie" Richards, Ariel Ingram, Bo Lee Nimon, Lawrence Jackson Skinner III, Savannah Richards and Weston Richards; and her great grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" Strickland III, River Watts, Ridge Jones, Maci Elizabeth Watts, Hattie Wilkinson and Carson Jones.
