He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jo; his daughter Teresa Robin; his great grandchild Kenleigh Ryan Barnett; his parents, Bill Duffel and Kathryn Warden Duffel; and his brothers, Charles and Larry Duffel.
He is survived by: his daughters, DeAnna Duffel Swanson, Jamie Duffel and Barbette Duffel Hardin; his son-in-law James Hardin; his grandchildren, Laci Barnett Townes (Corey), Brian Duren and Matthew Barnett (Kendal); his great grandchildren, Michaela, McKenzie, Maverick and Maci Townes; and his sisters, Rosemary Dennis and Linda Manning (Tommy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
