He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Randolph Strauser and Bonnie Marie Murphy Strauser; his siblings, George Lee Strauser and Doris Faye Simms; his son Terry Gene Strauser; and his grandsons, Steven Randolph Strauser and Christopher Charles Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Roth Strauser of Theodore; his siblings, Shirley Strauser Robinson of Dauphin Island, Patricia "Trish" Strauser Johnson (Gary) of Frisco City, AL and Chuck Cole (Rita) of Theodore, AL; his children, Martine Waltemath of Washington, MO, Toye Hensley (Scott) of Boca Raton, Florida and Jason Randolph Menge of Shreveport, LA; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Strauser of Milton, FL; his stepson Kenneth P. Jones (Carol) of Fullerton, CA; his stepgrandsons, Anthony Jones and Kevin Jones; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Emma Katherine Jones. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
