He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Ratcliff and Mary Estelle McGee Ratcliff; his son John C. Ratcliff; and his siblings, Charles Ratcliff, Doris Caylor, Jean Brown and Patricia Ratcliff.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sweatt Ratcliff; his daughters, Barbara Ratcliff Sweatt and Shelly Ratcliff Meyer; and his siblings, Ralph Ratcliff and Catherine Skipper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
