He was predeceased by: his significant other Beatrice "Nana" Faircloth Taylor; his parents, George Robert Taylor and Edna Earl Kearley Taylor; and his sister Ida Louise Taylor Bosarge. He is survived by: his children, Robert Taylor Jr., Steven Taylor (Tina) and Kimberly Torchia (Alan); his grandchildren, Taylor Stokley (Greg), Joshua Taylor, Landon Taylor (Avery), Ashtyn Everett (Ben), Raegan Taylor (Wes Porter) and Grant Torchia (Erica); and his great grandchildren, Chandler Stokley, Ellisyn, Radley Everett, Ethan Taylor and Zeke Walsh.
In lieu of flowers, "Poppa" requested that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
