He was predeceased by : his parents, Reverend James Clark, Sr. and Laura Mae Kirksey Clark; his wife Etta; and his siblings, Ethel, Ruby, Nettie and Herbert.
He is survived by : his children, Jametta Penelope Clarke, Victor, Benjamin Eaton (Christine) and Damon Clarke (Helen); his grandchildren, Sydni Clarke of Birmingham, Alabama, Brian Clarke of Birmingham, Alabama, Damon A. Clarke of Birmingham, Alabama and Coty Clarke, Sr. of Japan; his siblings, Oliver Clark, Essie Davis, Ada Slone, Darya Gaines and Jessie Brown (Tyrone); and his sisters-in-law, Callie Alexander, Clevester Pease (Lee), Juanita Alexander of Thomaston and Jennifer Alexander. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus daughters and sons, other relatives, and friends.
