She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Pickron Mason; and her sister Deborah Mason Barnett. She is survived by: her father Thomas F. Mason; her husband Charles Henry Whitaker; her sons, Charles Mason Whitaker (Mandy), Thomas Leonard Whitaker (Jill) and Christopher Allen Whitaker (Anna); her sister Barbara Gayle Williams; and her grandchildren, Mason Whitaker of Charlee Whitaker, J. T, Lenni Whitaker, Ryan Whitaker and Rhett Whitaker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (400 W Cahaba Ave, Linden, AL 36748). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Uriah Cemetery.
