She is survived by: her children, Robert Gregory Parten (Kathy Holley Parten), James Barry Parten and Shannon Parten Nichols (Richard Kevin Nichols); her brothers, James Wesley Edmonds, Jr., Roger Leon Edmonds and Ralph Lynn Edmonds; and her grandchildren, Holley Parten Joyner, Amy Lauren Parten, Tracey Nicole Parten, Melaine Parten Cochran, Andrew Harold Parten, Mary Elizabeth Haigler and Philip Hayden Nichols. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
