He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Vinson and Sybil Vinson (Heddleston); and his wife Melody. He is survived by: his daughter Lauren Elizabeth Vinson; his stepdaughter Angie Hogan; and his brother Murray Vinson.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Thomasville United Methodist Church (110 Old Hwy 5 N, Thomasville, AL 36784). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Choctaw Corner Cemetery (2285 Choctaw Corner Rd, Thomasville, AL 36784).
