He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Day, Sr. and Cecile Day. He is survived by: his children, Candice Rouse (Matthew), Danielle Day and Joseph Day III; the mother of his children Dianne Day; his brother John Day (Mary Ellen); his grandchildren, Megan Armentrout (Walt), Tyler Baggett, Ashley Rouse, Camilla Rouse and Victoria Rouse; and his friend Rebecca Moore.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Clarke County Historical Society.
