We bid farewell to Lizzie Jane Goodman (Thomasville, Alabama), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Lizzie Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wesley and Nealie Jane Avritt; her husband Linual Vergle Goodman; and her daughter Rachael Wallin. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Goodman, David Goodman (Daphne), Bobbie Jean Reeves (Kenneth), Kay Roberts and Jackie Elmore (Richie); and her siblings, Abraham Avritt (Jade), Robert Avritt (Colleen), Faye Champion, Mary Gandy (Glen) and Evelyn Reinhart (Mike). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (34550 US-43, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Okalona Methodist Protestant Church.
