He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Motes Jordan (Buck), Willard Eugene Motes, Lacy Elton Motes (Cecelia), Sherry Faye Motes McCoy (Wayne) and Barry Lynn Motes, Sr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends.
