It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Burge (Thomasville, Alabama), born in Butler, Alabama, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rufus Raymond Burge and Elinor Barr Burge; his wife Jane Glass Burge; his children, Raymond Alvin Burge, Jr. (Kim) and Melisa Sakon (Fred); his sisters, Joyce Burge Morgan (Alfred), Betty Ann Burge Hill and Dianne Evatt (Paul); his grandsons, Ethan A Sakon (Emma) and Anthony Raymond Burge; and his son Benjamin Franklin Singleton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hope Baptist Church.
