She was predeceased by: her parents, Tally Parten and Mattie Bertha Parten; her husband W. D. Sheffield; and her son Kenneth Sheffield. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gates (Frank), Linda Duncan (Rodney) and Robert Sheffield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
