He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Willie Grey Ott; his former wife Rosemary Ott; and his brother Johnny "Pro" Ott. He is survived by: his wife Harilita Jala Ott; his children, Teddy Ott (Kelly), Yolanda Holly (Stephen) and Susan Ottinger (Marc); his stepchildren, Fatima Khamiz (Emad) and Dreamac Caberte; and his siblings, Annie Faye Alford and Russell Ott (Dolores). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sandflat Methodist Protestant Church (3087 Sandflat Rd, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
